Self-Reflection #3. Prepare for your story panel

 1. How will you prepare for your narrative speech?  What specific things will you do?

First, I'm trying to find a funny story from my childhood. Next, I will write down the story scripts,  then keep revising it unil I'm satisfied before I read it and practice it.  finally, I can narrative it fluently without scripts. Here are some specific things I would do.  First, The story must be short and something I've experienced,  so, I can speak about it naturally. Next I will spend times revising it, to ensure the script has smooth transitions.

2. Complete this sentence: "My goal for this speech is to ...." Why is this your goal? (Examples: "speak for two miniutes" " attemp to look at the audience" "use 3 new vocabulary words" "not speak too fast" "not read my notes")

My goal for this speech is to tell us a truant story when I was in 2nd grade.

3. What stress management strategies will you use to be calm and less nervous during your presentation? Try to write 2-3 specific strategies and why you want to use them. (Examples: " I want to practice many times at home so I feel confident in class" "I want to remind myself to take deep breaths during my story", "I want to try to have fun and smile")

It might overwhelm me if I get nervous, but if I can narrative the story fluently despite in front of the panelist or a mirror or a friend, then all problems about nervous are solved. So continuous practice is the key to surmounting the feeling of nervous.
